The short answer is no. The longer, more nuanced answer is my style of coaching is steeped in CliftonStrengths. It is the language which I use to help my clients describe their natural patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It’s a cheat sheet of sorts to take a peek inside your brain and help you articulate why you do things the way you do. For all of my coaching sessions, the assessment is included. For workshops, retreats, keynotes, and webinars, teams have the option of adding an assessment of their choice to our session(s) together. Most of my clients are seeking a CliftonStrengths approach, so almost all of them choose an assessment to accompany the workshop or session. Head over to the Assessment page to see which one is the best fit for your coaching or workshop needs.
Typically, if you have taken the CliftonStrengths Assessment within a few years, you do not need to keep retaking the assessment. I tell my clients that unless you have gone through a major life change that has had a lasting effect on your personality and the way you naturally think, feel, and behave, you probably don’t need to take the assessment again. Some people like to just to see if anything has changed. And let's be real: going through the pandemic was a major life change! However, Gallup has found that, on average, most people's Top 10 might reorder themselves from time to time but not necessarily change. On a personal note, I first took this assessment in graduate school back in 2008. My Top 5 then were: Positivity, Communication, Woo, Activator, and Maximizer. I didn’t unlock my Full 34 back then, but when I retook the assessment in 2017, my Top 5 were (and still are): Positivity, Woo, Communication, Includer, and Activator. My Maximizer “dropped” to number 6, but other than that, not much changed!
Coaching is an investment in you (and maybe your whole team!). Each client comes to me with specific needs, and I tailor my approach and packages to customize as much as possible to meet those needs. What works for one client might not work for anyone else. The beauty of this approach is it allows me to work within your budget and we can dream big, together. If cost is really on your mind, let's set up a chat to discuss what you are looking for and what funds you've earmarked for your development. Remember, this is an investment in your growth; let me show you how!
For me, "group coaching" is a workshop. So, yes, I offer workshops where, together, we can unpack our strengths reports and see what our collective strengths bring to the team, group, or organization. For more information on workshops, including topic ideas and more, check out the Transformative Workshops page. And yes, I do offer coaching for whole teams and organizations. In fact, I find most clients who pair transformative workshops with 1:1 coaching yield the best results for their personal and professional growth. What we can't cover individually in a large group setting like a workshop or keynote is then mined down deep in individual coaching sessions. It's such a powerful combo! Discounts are available for teams that want 1:1 coaching for their entire team. Got a really large team? Check out my work with WYLD (on the Powerful Partnerships page) so we can dream up some really cool solutions on a large scale!
